Dällikon, July, 2026 – Swiss coffee machine manufacturer Rex-Royal introduces the new Rex-Royal Cloud 2.0, a powerful telemetry solution for the central management of coffee machine fleets. The system is designed to increase efficiency, reduce operating costs, and maximize machine availability.
A core component of the new cloud generation is the "Predictive Maintenance" feature. The system proactively reports maintenance needs before a failure occurs. This allows for forward-thinking planning of service calls, reduces downtime to a minimum, and thus significantly increases the uptime of the entire fleet.
This is complemented by the "Remote Maintenance" function. Many service issues can be analyzed and resolved directly from a distance, eliminating the need for an on-site technician. This not only saves time and costs but also increases the speed and efficiency of support.
With the new DOOH (Digital-out-of-Home) solution, Rex-Royal Cloud 2.0 also offers direct added value at the point of sale. Operators can use the coffee machine touchscreens to display targeted images or videos as advertisements—whether on individual machines or synchronized across entire fleets.
Thanks to an open API, the Rex-Royal Cloud 2.0 can be seamlessly integrated into existing IT systems such as ERP or CRM solutions. Data transmission is reliable and secure via an integrated SIM module, making the machines cloud-ready regardless of local network infrastructure.
